The program, “Those Alluring Accessories” was most informative and interesting. It involved the audience and was well received by the Club members. This program was selected as one of the Club’s two top programs of the year when submitting their final yearly report to the State Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Karen presents such interesting programs filled with fact and fun. During both “Close to the Vest and Under the Skirt” and “Bustles to Bras, every audience member is “hooked”, delighted by her humor and impressed with her knowledge.
Karen is a true professional in putting a topic across, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Although she is entertaining during the prepared portion, she truly excels when called to answer questions from the audience.
People always ask when she will come again!
Karen presented a very entertaining and informative program–Bustles to Bras. The presentation was enjoyed immensely by women of various age groups. Karen held the audience’s complete attention throughout the entire performance with her humor and amazing historical knowledge. We highly recommend this program.

Karen Jessee presented for three years at Dover, Delaware’s Modern Maturity Center’s annual Mother’s Day Tea. She is an audience favorite and requested each year to come back. She engages and includes the audience making her presentations interactive and fun. She presents the information in such a fun way that you forget you are also receiving a history lesson while having such a great time. Karen is a breeze to work with. She is quick to respond and scheduling has never been an issue. She comes well prepared with not only her own dress and presentation but a whole display of items for guests to enjoy. You will not regret booking her for your next event!

We have had the pleasure to host Karen Jessee and her partner for “Close to the Vest & Under the Skirt” (Show Us Your Undies) to sell out groups every year for over 6 years! Karen is a professional in her prompt correspondence in regards to details about the show, too. The customers who have attended love to see her shows. Karen is quite the crowd pleaser.

The Daughters of the American Revolution have a reputation of holding very high standards for programs.
[When] I saw our State Regent smiling and laughing while listening intently to Karen I knew we had not only met the high standards for programs, we had exceeded them. Karen’s program was educational, informative, interactive and funny. Karen came in period dress, with a well thought out power point presentation. During the program, Karen allowed several DAR members to model her vintage outfits around the room, this way guests could see the items more closely. She set up props on several tables and stayed after the meeting, allowing members to ask additional questions and review the items in more detail.
During my 3 years as Regent, I’d have to say this program was my favorite. Members still remind me after several years, that it was their favorite program too! Due to the time constraints at our venue, Karen only had 45 minutes to speak. We all wished she had another 45, since she was so engaging and entertaining. I hope to invite her back in the future, either as a guest or hopefully to speak again!

Karen’s presentation “Bustles to Bras” during a March, 2019 Sunday morning church education hour was extremely engaging, informative and appreciated by 35 men, women and youth. Karen shared some of her vast knowledge about women’s history and the clothes that tell their story with visuals on the screen as well as items from her collection of actual garments and accessories. Conversations continued as people reflected on their own family histories.
